FREE MATH LESSON - “Evaluating Expressions Google Apps Color by Number Digital Freebie”

Help your students maintain their mathematical proficiency and achieve success with distance learning using this fun, interactive Google Apps activity! Students will evaluate expressions using the order of operations (PEMDAS). Then, they will find their answers on the mandala and color them accordingly using the polyline tools in Google slides.

How exactly do your students color? I got you covered! A video is included to show your students how to digitally color the mandala!

This is a fun way to practice their skills from home or online while still giving you a way to measure and assess their understanding. This activity is great for reinforcement, review, skills practice, enrichment, assessment, or just a fun way to break up the monotony!

The resource consists of a pdf file that includes links to the file for the activity; directions for use in Google Classroom or for sharing (if you aren't using Google Classroom); an answer key; and a hard copy of the blank mandala in case you have students who need a paper copy for whatever reason.

This free Grade 3 -5 resource engages students in discovering for themselves the various ways in which singular nouns become plural. This lesson plan has students:working first in pairs and next in groups of 4 to investigate and share their learning about plural nouns, and then working independently to apply their new knowledge with the worksheet provided.

An answer key is provided for this lesson, which will take from 30 to 45 minutes to complete, although it can be broken into two shorter lessons.
