FREE MISC. LESSON - “‘Going Home?’ and ‘Coming to School?’ Signs”

by Katie Jones
Pre-Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

This is a cute sign for younger elementary school kids.

I have it hanging on my door and each day my students say a different phrase to me as they leave. As the school year has got closer to the end, my students have started to surprise me by coming up with their own rhyming phrases.

The students love it!

FREE MATH LESSON - “Counting Coins - Hair Method”

by Martha Moore
Pre-Kindergarten - 4th Grade

This document explains the hair method to counting money. This method of counting coins is great for young students’ first learning because it simply requires them to count by 5's. Document includes instructions and examples and could be printed as used as a guide for students. It also gives students a chance to try it. Also included is a song that reinforces this method. Look for other resources using the hair method in my TPT store such as PowerPoints, worksheets, and quizzes.

VICTORIA LEON'S PRODUCT - Clip Art Comparisons and Teachers Pay Teachers

by Victoria Leon

Pre-Kindergarten - 12th Grade

Hi,

I hope you will be able to use "Clip Art Comparisons and Teachers Pay Teachers" as a valuable resource when you create products at TpT.

I truly believe that it is your product's content that will bring you repeat customers. However, bright colorful TpT cover sheets will get your products noticed on Pinterest. If buyers notice your product while wading through the thousands of products at Teachers Pay Teachers, you will hopefully get increased sales.

My problem is that there are so many different terms of use with the various clip art companies frequently used at TpT. I decided to notify clip art companies and asked them to answer 14 questions in plain simple English. These are their unedited comments. I only changed the font, font size, format, and any obvious typographical errors.

I will be adding new clip art companies to this list. "Follow me" at http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Victoria-Leon/ and you will be notified when I have revised this free product with the responses from new clip art companies.

If you are a clip art company, feel free to fill out the enclosed questionnaire and email your information to vleon999@yahoo.com. You may also email me if you would like to update any of your responses.

Wishing you the best at Teachers Pay Teachers,
Vicky Leon
