 ESL Pacing Guide

Planning for the year can be overwhelming. Many of you have been asking me for my FREE ESL PACING GUIDE! so here it is!

This year-long ESL/ELD curriculum map, broken down by week, will help you plan your year for all 3 language levels.

✅ Beginner/early intermediate
🍎 Intermediate
✅ Early Advanced/Advanced

Who is this ESL Pacing Guide for?

If you are looking for help scheduling K-5 ESL instruction for all language levels for the year, this is for you.

In this FREE ESL curriculum map, you will find the language components that I teach during that month. Although you may have your own resources, activities, and curriculum to teach these components, I offer products you might need.

Free K-5 ESL curriculum

♥If I have a product that contains all or parts of the language I teach during that month I have listed it. All resource images are clickable links for your convenience. Just click on the image you want to see and it will take you to my TPT store.♥

What do I get?

Each month has a combination of ELD units and/or grammar components essential for English learners. Again choose some or all of what I have here. Feel free to mix it up to suit you!

Click Here to download your free pacing guide

Every classroom is different! Every teacher teaches differently, and I tried to create this year's curriculum map with many different types of classrooms and teachers in mind. I know you may need to tweak this to the needs of your students, classroom, and administration. That’s OK! For example, March is a testing month for me. In addition, if you need to switch months around to meet your testing time, that is just fine. Do what is best for your students in your classroom.

Furthermore, there is even a column for holidays, which you can use or not use, your choice.

How awesome is that people?

I mean the whole year is planned out for you.

Finally, all you have to do is

What exactly is impeachment? In U.S. History, only three presidents have been impeached. Those presidents were Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump(impeached twice). None were convicted during a trial and finished out their terms of office. President, Richard Nixon, was going to be impeached but he resigned, pressured by members of his own Republican party, before he was impeached.

Use this webquest to introduce students to the issue of impeachment, how the founding fathers determined the use of impeachment in the U.S. Constitution and the history of impeachment.

Other Resources:

There are 10 web questions on this topic(including the Order of Succession and the Checks and Balances between the three branches of government). There is also a short Did You Know? section and several comprehension questions. The Teacher Page includes the key and several extension activities.
