FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Free All About Farms Differentiated First Grade Informational Writing Activity”

These All About Farms differentiated writing prompts are a fun way to get your students started with informational writing. Each writing prompt features real photos and a word bank to spark your student’s non-fiction writing ideas.

There are 3 differentiated levels included:

Level 1: Fill-in-the-blank sentence stems are provided for each sentence in the prompt. These sentence stems are designed to be open ended so there is a variety of ways to complete them.

Level 2: Sentence frames are provided for the topic and concluding sentences only.

Level 3: No sentence frames included. Students write their own paragraph or sentences using the word bank.

Distance Learning Use: To use these prompts for distance learning you can: share your screen and use a shared writing activity or print the prompts and send home in paper distance learning packets.
