Pre-Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
This is a classroom idea that is intended to promote reading and writing at home. By showcasing a child-sized suitcase or backpack that is brimming with bright, colorful and enticing literacy objects any primary aged child is sure to engage in at-home reading and writing. And we all know that children who engage in independent reading and writing activities are much more likely to become proficient readers and writers!
