FREE MISC. LESSON - “Table Job Labels (Green Polka Dot)”

by 4mulaFun
Pre-Kindergarten - 12th Grade

These cute little labels are perfect to put on the corners of groups of desks so each child has a job. Graphics are from Melonheadz Illustrating and From the Pond.

There are a total of 8 labels with 6 of them being filled out with the following jobs:

Table Leader
Scribe
Materials Manager
Cleanup Crew
Motivation Manager
Tight Lip Lieutenant

as well as 2 blank labels for your use. I secure these to my desks in the beginning of the year and my students are able to sit at any seat at their assigned table and therefore the jobs get rotated around on a regular basis. They never know when we might do group work so there is no real "choosing" of a job each day.

Enjoy the FREE download. Please take the time to rate the product and leave feedback as well so that I may grow as a seller. Thank you!

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Fairy Tale and Nursery Rhyme Rhyming Dominoes”

by The Fun Factory
Pre-Kindergarten - 1st Grade

If you are looking for an engaging rhyming activity or game, this is for you! Using pictures/words from familiar fairy tales and nursery rhymes, children match the rhyme while playing dominoes. A rhyming pairs check sheet is included so the game becomes an independent center activity so the child can monitor his own learning. Research shows rhyming is an important precursor to reading which makes this such an important skill in the Early Childhood classroom.

Enjoy this FREE download and if you like it, please leave positive feedback.

Have FUN from the FUN FACTORY!

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Literacy Center Game - Sink My Letter!”

by Lorraine Salome
Pre-Kindergarten - 1st Grade

Just like the old-fashioned game of Battleship, this game can be used by partnered teams at Kinder or 1st grade centers to practice letter identification.

Laminate the board and have children select 5 letters to write in the yellow boxes at the bottom of the board. Kids take turn guessing each others' letter choices in hopes of "sinking" their letters. They can place markers on the alphabet above to keep track of guesses.

For an advanced version, have children play the game with letter sounds.

Thanks for your interest! I hope your students enjoying playing this game during center time.
