Language Arts - ReState It Question and Answer Cards

by Fourth Grade Frenzy
Grades 3 and 4

Thanksgiving Math Fun!

Thanksgiving can be a special time of year, but also a busy time for many students and teachers.  Some families come into town, others are excited for trips to see family members, and still others are excited to see family members here at home.
If you are like me, sometimes this comes at the heart of the year and with some students absent or distracted by the upcoming holiday, a fun activity is welcome in the classroom.  Reviewing previous topics or practicing current skills with these riddles can be helpful in your classroom at this busy time. (And sneak a little fun into the classroom)

Enjoy riddles like these...
Why do Pilgrims wear suspenders ?
What is the best thing to put in your pumpkin pie?
Why did the turkey join the band?
Why do turkeys always get in trouble?
And many more...

Engage your students with these Thanksgiving Math riddles worksheets! I began creating math riddles to make math more fun in my own classroom.

I love hearing my students giggle as they solve the riddle at the end of the worksheet. Students solve  problems, each problem has a letter assigned to it and the letters help to solve the riddle. It is a great way to combine fun and learning!
Make math FUN!

Topics covered in the Riddles
Addition
Subtraction
Multiplication
Division
Order of Operations
Scientific Notation
Adding Integers
Subtracting Integers
Multiplying Integers
Dividing Integers

**As always they are offered in color and grayscale for easy duplication for your students in the copier.
