FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Free Category Sorting Activity”

by Teaching Autism
Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten

This free category sorting activity is a great way for students to work on their categorising skills. Students have to choose which category to sort the images into, while also having the opportunity to work on their vocabulary skills.

This comes as a PDF file. Simply print out the individual pages, cut out the images from the bottom and sort them into the correct category. If you would like to keep these to re-use throughout the years I would recommend laminating each of the individual pieces and storing together so that they will be stronger, longer lasting and you won't lose any little pieces.

The categories included are;
♦ Food v Drink
♦ Sea v Land Animals
♦ Green v Blue
♦ People v Animals
♦ Bathroom v Bedroom
