FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Editable Sight Word Activities”

Pre-Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Editable, auto fill activities for teaching sight words. Simply type 10 sight words or CVC words of YOUR choice (up to 11 letters long) into the word list at the beginning and they will automatically be inserted into the ‘Roll and Read’ and 'Countdown' activities! LOW-PREP and endless fun!

Included are:

•Instructions

•Your Word List- enter your own sight words into the list.

•Roll and Read game (in color and B+W) - roll the die and read the words in the matching column.

•Countdown Activity (in color and B+W) – set a timer and see how many words your students can read before the time runs out!

To edit, download the PDF to your computer and then open the PDF in the latest version of Adobe Reader. Next click on the text boxes in ‘Your Word List’ and enter your sight words. Only the text is editable, not the images!
