In this classroom-tested project from Spark Creativity, students have the opportunity to choose from a huge variety of creative and analytical options for success. Students are invited to choose the activities that cater to their learning style, but also gently pushed to try a variety of ways to process their learning.
The project outlines three tiers of activities, allowing students to set an A, B, or C as their goal for the project, based on the amount of work they are willing to do.
Because this project contains more than fifteen ways for students to process the novel, it could also be broken up by a teacher into multiple lesson plans or homework assignments, rather than used as the overarching project for the entire unit. It could even be used to inspire activities for many other books. In those cases, teachers may wish to expand the bullet ideas in this ready-made handout into worksheets of their own.
This product is related to another in my store, the differentiated project for Transcendentalism. I would not recommend using both with the same students, as they have some similar components.
