by Kathy Babineau
Kindergarten - 4th Grade

Target inferences and spring vocabulary with this spring-themed inference worksheet. Easy print-and-go activity. Kids love listening to the riddle descriptions and then finding the answer to the riddle on the coloring page. Simple, low-prep lesson plan for inferencing, spring vocabulary, and listening comprehension. Students also enjoy describing additional items on the page for other students to make their own riddles = bonus expressive language activity!

This inference worksheet works well in whole class lessons and small groups. It can also be used for online speech therapy lessons.

How to use:

Read aloud riddles to your students as they search their printable pages for the answers to the riddles. Students can color the answers to the riddles as they solve them.

To use this product in person, simply print enough coloring pages for each of your students and print one copy of the read-aloud riddles for yourself.

To use virtually, screen share to allow students to see the coloring page. Students then use markers and highlighters in the screen share toolbar to color and highlight items as I read clues aloud.
