Let's keep our students engaged in our ELAR objectives and let them enjoy the holidays at the same time!  

 This is a FREE product designed to help students recognize and remember the difference between plural, possessive, and plural possessive nouns.

This is a set of matching cards for students to determine the meaning of words that have more than one meaning. For example:  

Timmy got a toy train for Christmas.

  We are going to train our new puppy to do tricks.

Students match the sentence card to a card with the underlined word's correct definition.  Great Vocabulary Practice!

This is a set of 20 Christmas spelling words and their plural form.  Also given is a reminder of several different rules used to create the plural form of nouns.  Enjoy!

During this holiday season, I’m participating in a one day #GiveBackFriday sale with a wonderful group of teacherpreneurs. The resources that I’m including are a values lesson entitled How to Beat the Holiday Blues. Holidays are a time of sadness for many, and our children are not immune. This little activity will help them to feel better about themselves.  It involves having the children give complimentary notes to each other, and the teacher.
