FREE SOCIAL STUDIES LESSON - “Abraham Lincoln Freebie for Smartboard”

by Leigh Majer
Pre-Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Kids will have a fun and engaging time learning about Abraham Lincoln with this interactive Smartboard.

Use as an introduction, unit review or for independent practice with your students.

Simply drag and drop the correct answer into the box. Picture cues and differences in answer box sizes will help younger learners. This can also be a great opportunity to use the Smartboard markers to locate sight words within sentences, find and mark punctuation and capitalization.

If you are interested in more engaging Smartboard activities with colorful graphics, please check out my other items, in particular:

FREE MATH LESSON - “Free President’s Day Math Task Cards Google Slides Independent Workbook”

by Created by Kimberly Sullivan
1st - 3rd Grade

Free President's Day Task cards and Game!
Purpose: to review addition and subtraction facts
Directions and answers included

For Google Slides: Students will type in the answer. There is also a cover page for students to use for an independent workbook. I changed some of the task cards to word problems and a slide to type facts about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

For printing:

2 page game board with 38 math fact problem cards and 12 other cards to move students to special places on the game board. EX: Go to the Washington Monument.
Problem cards are numbered to make it easy for Mr. President to check answers.
All clipart is from mycutegraphics.com

This is a fun way to review math facts. The game could also be used with multiplication and division flash cards or other flash cards.

Your students can also review by just using the task cards and write their math facts on paper, a recording sheet, or notebook.
I hope your students enjoy this.

Follow my store for special notifications.

Thanks for downloading!
Sincerely,
Kimberly Sullivan
