FREE MATH LESSON - “3rd Grade Math Centers - Place Value”

This 3rd grade math centers set includes hands-on and rigorous math centers for teaching place value! This resource includes a total of 10 math centers! Each center includes student friendly directions and everything you need for each activity. You'll also find detailed teacher notes to make implementing centers as easy as possible.
The center activities include:
-multiplication fact game
-place value task cards
-place value vocabulary
-place value problem solving activity
-math journal prompt
-error analysis
-number of the day
-place value review game
-review task cards (since most teachers teach place value first, this set of task cards reviews second grade standards)

This freebie consists of three different topic boards of “fringe” vocabulary for use during the Christmas season.
1) A general topic board for opening gifts.
2) A Christmas songs choice board
3) A topic board for making/eating Christmas cookies
These are meant to be supplemental visual language supports. Be sure to model using words on these boards, pointing to icons on the boards as you comment and ask questions during Christmas activities.

Winter Holiday Social Skills Task Cards

The holiday season is always a test of social skills for all of us. This set is appropriate for Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa and addresses family meals and parties, gift giving and more. It is also a time when we need to be polite, socially appropriate and friendly with family and friends. This set includes social language task cards that target solving common problems, sticking to the topic when talking with others and some fun cards that challenge students to act things out while focusing on facial expressions and body language for common winter holiday activities.
To use, simply print out the cards, cut them apart and laminate them if you wish.
Set contains: 18 “pretend” cards (to act out), 18 problem solving cards, and 12 “talk about it” cards
