FREE MISC. LESSON - “Add Your Own Pictures: Dotted Month Calendar Headings”

by Teaching Ideas For Those Who Love Teaching
Pre-Kindergarten - 8th Grade

Make your classroom calendar pop with these free month calendar headings. Use pictures of your students working in class, on field trips, learning cooperatively, or any activity. Then display the pictures in the classroom, by adding them to these calendar headings. A great way to show all the learning that takes place in your classroom.

These headers are also great for clinicians and special education teachers. Specific behaviors, motor skills, sound formation, or academic goals can be photographed in action for students to see and practice all month.

These are very easy to use. Simply enable editing in powerpoint. Then, click where indicated to load the picture of your choosing. Then print, cut, and laminate. Students, parents, teachers, and administrators love these. This is a great way to capture exciting moments in your classroom, and to display them for everyone to see.

Happy customers have said:

"This is a great idea for personalization. I take lots of pictures in the classroom. I'm going to use this resource as part of a student scrapbook for my students with autism to remember things through the school year."

"Thank you for sharing this awesome resource."

"thanks!"

Five Assumptions about Distance Learning-Why it's Not Working for Every Child!

By Vicki Rauch of Scipi

My husband and I have taught together for over 80 years. We continue to do so because we love what we do; however, we are very disturbed by the terms Virtual Learning or Distance Learning or On-Line Learning. Now don't get the idea that because we are "old", we don't or can't use technology. Technology is part of our lives, especially in our teaching, but when we hear Distance Learning, many people make assumptions that simply aren't true.
