Dear friend,
Hi there!
It's been a while 👋🏽, and I wanted to share something I've been working on for elementary ESL teachers.
Over the summer, I spent a lot of time updating and reorganizing my ESL Yearlong Curriculum | K–5 Lesson Plans to make it even easier for teachers to know what to teach and how to support English learners at different proficiency levels.
The updated curriculum now includes:
• Monthly Implementation Guides
• Suggested weekly teaching plans
• Four ESL proficiency levels—from Newcomer through Early Advanced/Advanced
• Monthly language goals and Can-Do checklists
• Vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and oral language instruction
• Listening, speaking, reading, and writing practice
• Built-in spiral review so important language skills are revisited throughout the year
It's not a scripted day-by-day program. Instead, it gives you a clear, flexible roadmap for the entire school year while still allowing you to make the instructional decisions that are best for your students.
If you'd like to see how I plan an elementary ESL year and how the curriculum is organized, I also wrote about it here:
I hope your school year is off to a wonderful start!

P.S. The TpT sale is September 29 only, so if you've been considering the Yearlong Curriculum, that's a great day to take another look.
