Mexican Independence Day in your classroom.  The unit addresses the history of the Father Hidalgo in Dolores and his legendary "Grito de Dolores" that started the Mexican Revolution. The unit also describes in detail the reenactment ceremonies done on Sept 15 every year in the Zocalo of Mexico by the President of Mexico.
