I started teaching in a large school district in southern California in 1987 & I’m STILL just as passionate about teaching & learning . . . 30 years later!! Other teachers inspire me: their ideas, lessons, and their classrooms. I love to collaborate and brainstorm with others. I believe in teaching to the whole child, try to engage my students with real world problem solving and helping kids to identify and develop their strengths.

I’m married to a wonderful, supportive husband and we have three daughters. I love to travel, read, and scrapbook.

Halloween ELA and Math for First Grade
