by Rachel Lynette

Please enjoy these 24 FREE End of the School Year task cards!

The first twenty cards each feature a reflection question about the school year. These would work well as either discussion or writing prompts. The final four cards (yellow titles) each require students to write a letter pertaining to the school year. These are longer activities and would be great at a center or as a whole class assignment.

  • Recording Sheets

  • Google Slides
  • Easel Activity

  • Digital or Print
  • Multiple versions of the recording sheet included

Great for 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade!

Teacher Tip

Here’s what teachers are saying:

✏️ "My students loved this! We chose a different card (or three!) everyday until the end of the school year to write about and discuss together." -Cassandra G.

✏️ "Engaging and fun activity for the end of the year. Our last two days of school were virtual so this helped make last minute planning easier. Thank you!" -Kaitlyn D.

✏️ "I left these out the last week of school and we reflected about our school year every morning. My students enjoyed coming into the classroom in the morning to see what reflection they had to prepare to talk about." -Christine F.
