FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “FREE Reading Literature with More Understanding (Fun Worksheets, Common Core)”

by J MASON EMERSON
4th - 12th Grade

This free sample resource includes:

A Word Search……..Many of my teaching resources have unique Word Searches like this one that don’t just have students finding isolated words but rather have the students learning/re-learning information since they must find the words in the context of informative sentences; actual learning tools from which the students can learn a lot more information and ideas;

Numbers-To-Words Cryptogram…….Many of my learning packets have cryptograms like this one that also actually teach information not just words since they are in informational contexts. This one is for numbers-to-words;

Letters-To-Words Cryptogram…..The type shown here is also used in many of my resources; such tools also teach meaningfully as the words are inside of sentences that explain information or ideas. Students work but are happy to do so given the fun game format. They love this type of worksheet;

Greek Letters-To-Words Cryptogram….Faster students appreciate this type the most;

Clip Art Of American And British Authors--very handy; it would take you possibly dozens of hours to find all these as truly public domain items on your own, but here they are already found and for free.

How To Practice Common Core State Standards –a very handy list guide these days.

You need to do both to earn your credits. But you don't have to rate and comment right away. You can do so after you've had a chance to use the product. Just return to the product page when you're logged in to TpT. For every dollar you spend on TpT, you'll earn 1 credit—and we'll round up for you, too! If you provide fair feedback on a $4.75 item, you will earn 5 credits.
