Language Arts Lesson - "20 Essay Revision Questions"

Grades 9-12

Students must learn to evaluate their own writing. This handout provides a systematic method for examining each part of an essay including focus, organization, introduction, conclusion, sentence structure, variety, and diction. As students answer the questions, they quickly recognize areas of their paper that need improvement and gain ideas about how to make such changes.
