Writing: Write Right! Incredible Critique Forms and Rubrics
With this packet, teachers get fourteen pages of writing revision activities and handouts that will strengthen students’ analysis and writing skills.  Incredible Critique Forms and Rubrics: Twelve Individual and Group Writing Assessment Handouts includes two full pages of Teachers Notes and 12 printable handouts that students can use to analyze and critique their own writing as well as their peers’ work. Teachers can choose which documents best fit their students' skills, abilities and needs.

I have used these various forms successfully with regular, Honors /A.P. and SPED students in grades 7-12. The “Self-Assessment Sheet: Writing” as well as the “Quarter Writing Progress Self-Assessment” are critical thinking techniques that encourage students to take ownership for their writing and for the process which they choose to follow to complete their work.

If students are to become strong writers, they must practice talking like writers-orally and in writing - as well as learning how to write right.

Download this packet that shares the characteristics of strong writing and that shows students how to find these strengths in their own writing, in the words of authors they are reading, and in their peers’ pieces. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Writing-Write-Right-Incredible-Critique-Forms-and-Rubrics-685296 ($)
