"a/b + c/d = (ad + bc)/bd" The "crisscross" method to add (and subtract) fractions is a lot less cumbersome than finding the lowest common denominator. Thanks Common Core! In this download you will receive the poster seen in the thumbnail as well as one without a border. On the 3rd page of the download is a set of directions to enlarge the file into a classroom-sized poster for free (sorry, Staples!) from any printer.
