By A Teacher's Teacher
ELA; Grades 7-10

Set up as a tic-tac-toe board, students are presented with 9 different options, of which they must make a tic-tac-toe by choosing three in a row diagonally, horizontally, or vertically. The options are targeted to address different learning styles and talents, including artistic, verbal, linguistic, and technological (as well as many others).  There are also “assessment cards” on the next page so students know what qualities and aspects will be graded for each individual assignment.  If you like this, you might really like the value-priced bundle that contains all 4 project layouts offered by A Teacher's Teacher; the link to that product can be viewed on this product's description page, as well!

By Scipi - Science and Math

This bunny glyph (can be used at Easter) is an excellent activity for reading and following directions, and requires problem solving, communication, and data organization. It has the students coloring or putting different items on a bunny based on information about themselves. Students are to finish the bunny glyph using eight categories varying from age, to grade, to favorite time of the year.

Reading - Grades K-2

Baseball season is here and it's time to hit a home run in reading CVC words! Not only does this resource help with blending short vowel i words in the traditional way, but the movable bat engages the reader's eyes to smoothly track the letters of the words from left to right. Better tracking, smoother blending of sounds, better reading of words!

Word Search: --le At End of a Word - $1.00
By Reading Spotlight
Reading, Spelling; Grades 2-5

A new and better way to practice phonics and spelling--so much better than a monotonous workbook page! This Word Search Puzzle contains 2 puzzles with more than 75 words that end in the sometimes difficult sound of "le" at the end of a word. Inexpensive and effective! Reading Levels 1-4.

By Believe to Achieve by Anne Rozell

Students love volcanoes and this is a fun and easy to set up science experiment! Anne has included the teacher directions, pictures of materials to provide visual aides and student lab sheet! Consider this fun and engaging activity as you wrap up this year or are planning an exciting start to next year!
