FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON--Winter Language Activities

by Daria O'Brien

Another snow day!  Here in the Northeast we are in the middle of what is being labeled a "snow trilogy" or the "snow apocalypse".  All I know is that the schools, including mine, are WAY over on their snow days--and it's only the beginning of February!

Also, many of us are beginning to experience cabin fever!  Well, when life hands you snow, make snowmen!  I got up early and created this fun activity packet for language arts teachers, speech therapists and parents (click my TpT store for your FREE copy):

Included are lesson outlines, photos and printables.  Target vocabulary, sequencing, and expository writing with "Make Your Own Snow Globe".

Watch "The Snowman" and highlight comprehension, social cognition, predicting and making inferences.
Stay warm and THINK SPRING!
