“Wild, Wild West Careers, Volume 1” looks at Westward Expansion in America during the 1800s by examining the careers of those men and women who paved the way and settled the land in the west.  Each of the lessons covers the careers and information about the era as it relates to the career.   Volume One includes: Explorers – Lewis and Clark and Sacagawea; Native American Chiefs, the Trail of Tears, and the Long Walk; Frontiersmen,  Davy Crockett and the Alamo; Gold Miners and the California Gold Rush; Pony Express Riders, the Telegraph and Showmen;  Homesteaders,  Wagon Trains, and, the Donner Party.  An outline of each lesson plan is listed below.
