FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Free Simpsons Character “Tags” Creative Novel/Lit Activity”

by Tracee Orman
6th - 12th Grade

Students love to tag one another in pictures on Facebook. By using that same concept in a novel study (or any reading activity), students will match up characters from The Simpsons to characters in the novel. They have to justify their choices, which allows them to create their own metaphors for each character. It's a fun activity & definitely one the students understand.

Aligned with the new Common Core Standards.

This can be used with any novel or literature, and in history (use to make connections for historical figures), science, and virtually any content area! This is a great review activity before a test or quiz.
