FREE MISC. LESSON - “Thanksgiving Fine Motor Freebie: Roll-a-Pie”

by My Happy Place
Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten

This Roll-a-Pie Thanksgiving Fine Motor Freebie is a perfect addition to my other Fine Motor Skills Task Boxes, but can also be used alone as an early finisher activity, a morning tub, or a simple math center.
This activity allows students to build fine motor skills while practicing counting and/or subitizing. Placing the laminated pie pieces to make a full pie requires dexterity, while using a spoon or tweezers to put cotton balls (whipped cream) on each piece uses finger strength and balance.
To prepare this activity, print the pie pieces on card stock. Laminate them, cut them out, and place them in the task box with cotton balls (at least 8), a plastic spoon or tweezers, and a six-sided die.

Please note that this resource includes a digital download for you to print. It does not include the manipulatives or box you will need to assemble the activity.
This set includes:
Roll-a-Pie Visual Instructions and Label
Printable Pumpkin Pie Pieces
Materials List:
copy paper, card stock, laminator/film
cotton balls
plastic spoon or tweezers/tongs
one 6-sided die
