Math Lesson - "Common Core Math 6th Grade Expressions (6.EE.2a,b,c) with I Have-Who Has Game"

This resource will save you time as you use the handouts for students to complete notes on terms related to algebraic expressions. Examples with parts of the solution omitted which students must supply keep them engaged as the teacher introduces new concepts.

1st Activity – Write verbal expressions as algebraic expressions. Identify terms, factors, exponents, coefficients, constants, variables.

2nd Activity – Notes and guided examples on evaluating algebraic expressions are included. Evaluating formulas and writing and evaluating algebraic expressions from reading problems are in the activity.

3rd Activity - I Have - Who Has Game - This game has 30 game cards on writing and evaluating numerical and algebraic expressions.
