Language Arts - "Sight Word Fluency Practice"

By: Sam Van Gorp
K-2nd Grade

*Pre-Primer Dolch List*

Sight Word fluency is important because in order for students to become successful readers, they need to be able to read sight words automatically. These Sight Word Fluency Practice sheets offer students opportunities for eyes-on-print time with repeated reading of the sight words. They also introduce self-monitoring skills by having students check the box when they are done with a task on the ‘Read and Check’ list.

This product includes words from the Pre-Primer Dolch list. There are 20 practice pages in this product. Each page focuses on 4 words. The words in the first 10 pages are listed in alphabetical order and students will use the colors red, blue, green, and orange. The words in the last 10 pages are mixed together throughout the list and students will use the colors yellow, purple, green, and pink.

There is NO PREP included! Simply print and use with students! Directions for use are printed on each sheet.
