Language Arts - "Task Cards: Punctuation (Common Core Grades 3-6)"

By Christina L
Grades 3-6

These task cards are larger than normal (5-6 questions each) so students can work on just one card. More advanced students may complete more than one card. A "user friendly" method of displaying them is to laminate them, punch a hole in the corner and attach them with a binder ring.

Includes:
• 12 Task Cards (5-6 questions each) + 12 Answer Keys
• Recording sheet to show completion of each card

Topics include:
• End Punctuation (Add a period, question mark or an exclamation point.)
• Commas (Rewrite the sentences below placing commas where they are needed.)
• Commas (Complete the sentences by listing at least 3 answers using commas.)
• Commas - Addresses and Dates
• Commas (Answer each question in a complete sentence. Make sure to add commas in the correct spot.)
• Quotation Marks (Rewrite the sentences placing the quotation marks in the correct spot.)
• Quotation Marks + Punctuation (Rewrite the sentences placing the quotation marks in the correct spot. Don’t forget to include commas and end punctuation, too.)
• Apostrophes (Write the words that need an apostrophe. Make sure to add the apostrophes where they are needed.)
• Possessive Nouns (Rewrite the sentences placing the quotation marks in the correct spot. Don’t forget to include commas and end punctuation, too.
• Apostrophes – Singular Possessives (Change each phrase below into a sentence with a possessive noun.)
• Apostrophes – Plural Possessives (Change each phrase below into a sentence with a possessive noun.)

Great for literacy centers, the Daily Five, early finishers and small group intervention!

Thanks for looking!
Christina
