Skills essential for early learning develop at different rates in students; therefore, it is imperative to assess student readiness in order to make one of the most important decisions in the school career of any student – when to begin Kindergarten.

This exam and rubric helps teachers, parents and schools make this important decision. It is quick to administer and easy to interpret. This exam is designed to be administered from the last month of pre-school through the fourth full week of Kindergarten.
